In this assignment, your task is to examine the business opportunities arising out of the free trade agreements (FTAs) which have been finalized recently between the Australian government and the leading economies of North Asia, namely: China, South Korea and Japan.

You have  to produce a presentation to the executive of an Australian specialty engineering manufacturing firm which is considering a business expansion in one of the offshore markets. The report should provide a background to the FTAs, profile Australia’s trading partners, and identify which country offers the greatest potential for the investment.
