Also explain how these features will influence the durability aspects of the reinforced concrete member. Question 4 Use the data provided in the spreadsheet to justify your choice of concrete mix (i. e., concrete mix A, B, C or D) to meet the desired performance characteristics (i. e., ability to be placed into congested reinforcement sections, ability to resist compressive loads and bending moments and ability to endure C2 exposure classification)

Question 5 ï‚· If the concrete mix selected in Question 4 is used to construct a reinforced concrete bridge deck (i. e., a surface element in a bridge structure), describe how the properties given in the spreadsheet may be used to determine the ultimate specific creep of the concrete used to construct this surface element. Please also explain what impact the ultimate specific creep will have on the performance of the bridge deck.
