Your report will need to: 1. introduce one of the two countries in terms of its basic geographic, demographic and economic profile (CIA’s World Factbook is a recommended start) 2. analyse the biofuel industry, its frameworks, any mandates or legislative policies that the country has implemented  3. identify and discuss key economic challenges and market opportunities for widespread adaptation of biofuels in the country 4. forecast likely economic outcomes of the biofuels mandate 5. conclude your analysis by answering the following question – is the biofuels mandate economically sustainable and viable in this country? 6. repeat the steps above for the other country 7. compare and contrast the key findings from both countries 8. briefly analyse Australia’s biofuel industry, its legislative context and any key economic drivers 9. provide appropriate economic-legislative focused recommendations for Australia, based on the findings from the two case study countries  
It is highly recommended that you discuss your report outline with the instructor prior to commencing your research. Please note that no two persons will focus on the same country(s) in this assignment. Two countries will be randomly allocated to you in class on 30 June 2016 (Week 7’s Thursday).
