The other project we am struggling with is for Business Valuation and Financial Analysis. The part I cannot get right is this: Part 1. Reformatted Financial Statements and Financial Analysis (10 marks) Reformat at least the last 5 years of your company's financial statements. Use ratio analysis and cash flow analysis to evaluate the current and past performance of the business and assess its sustainability. 1. Reformat at least 5 years 2. Prepare 4 years of ratios 3. Prepare risk ratios for cash flow analysis 4. WRITE UP – what happened AND WHY the ratios/ cash flow changed ----------- So.. Based on the excel template provided "QF - Financial Statements - Final" I need to reformat last 5 years (2011-2015) of my company's (Invocare Limited (ASX code: IVC) listed on ASX) financial statements. Then I need to do ratio analysis and cash flow analysis which is also presented in the template (in excel template sheet "Financial Analysis "). When using the template it is advised not to delete anything (hide cells if needed) since all sheets are interconnected and formulas will nt work if any cell will be deleted. I attach - excel template based on qantas - 2 lectures on reformatting and ratios for info. - company data: the company data has to come from their original annual reports, all attached in pdfs (files attached " annual-report-2010.pdf ", etc.) . We was able to find excel format (" ivc.2010.xls ", etc.) for years 2010-2014 not to waste time to input data from pds if needed - BAV_model excel file and bav software helpfile.pdf - this is actually the excel file (programmed as an analysis tool) which was designed by the authors of the book that we use in the subject. I guess the teacher used it to create our template. We were not required to use this tool, nobody actually knows about it, i accidently found it while reading the book. There is some guideness in it so i thought it might help with the assignemnt. Do you think you can help me with the reformatting part (excel sheet "Reformatted") because to do it we need to fill in all sheets from beginning till "Ratios"in the excel template "QF - Financial Statements - Final" {such as Rev &EXp, Cash Flow, Assets, Liabilities, Equity, Reformatted), then more or less the whole further analysis for ratios, forecast and valuations will work automatically just by adding couple of assumptions in the forecasting part. just in case there is a problem downloading files that I have attached to this email. you can access them on company website:
