Section B 7.What was the objective of the overall project?
The main objective of this project was to operate and maintain various measuring and instrumentation systems installed inside the city gate station. There were different types of measuring instruments / system installed for example: Turbine gas flow meter, gas flow computer, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, electronic volume correction module, odorant injection control panel, PID based heating control panel, telemetry system to communicate process data to central control room. My work responsibility was to ensure that all instrumentation devices / system operate in a safe and correct manner and that gas station vital process parameters are maintained in the desired limit.
