You will need to provide a brief description of a “made up” company, especially the business products and services offered to customers. 2. It is recommended that you provide a risk analysis of your company level of exposure to infringing Trade Description Ordinance (cap 362). Note that if you chose to focus on particular sections or a section of Trade Description Ordinance (cap 362), you will need to state how your company is exposed to the risk of infringing specific sections or section of the ordinance. 3. You might want to search for case law via the website HKLII or/and news articles to explain your company’s risk exposure to specific sections or section of the ordinance. 4. Apart from stating the prescriptive or proscriptive legal requirements of specific sections or a section of the ordinance, you will need to provide recommendations in your proposal like policies in which your company can implement to guide employee (at all levels or particular groups or departments) to comply with the legal requirements of the ordinance and any other guide the company wishes to incorporate in its policies. (Note that policies are usually articulated as “code of practice” in companies to guide all staff.) 5. You will also need to provide a draft outline of the “code of practice”.
