Task: Choose a topic that you want to talk about. Work out an argument in relation to this topic and create a short speech and a written analysis of the same, using persuasive argument, evidence and critical reflection. Again; this is an individual assignment task that each student must do on his/her own. However students may discuss their approaches with other students either in class or online. The speech needs to be distributable electronically as a podcast or webcast, and accompanied by a written transcript of not more than 1000 words (+/- 10%). The written transcript should be exactly same word-for-word as the recorded speech. You can upload your recorded speech onto CloudDeakin Assignment 2 drop-box as an appropriate media/PowerPoint (with narration) file while the transcript and written analysis must be submitted separately via Assignment 2 drop-box as a single MS Word document. Therefore your total submission will consist of two files – a Word document with the transcript and analysis and a media/PowerPoint (with narration) file of the speech recording.
