3 Choose your current role or the attached Valleyview Publishing Statement of Duties and identify four work related SMART goals. Identify what strategies you would use to help you achieve these goals.
4 Develop a S-M-A-R-T analysis of one of the goals you have identified in Question 3.
5 Develop a time-management plan for one week demonstrating how you would manage your time effectively. This could be in the form of a daily diary entry. Include a list of “Time-Wasters”(at least 4) and how you would manage them.
6 List and describe five examples of how you would use technology or planning tools to aid you in managing your work day priorities.
7 List and explain at least five causes of stress in a workplace environment and discuss the appropriate methods you would use to deal with the problems. Provide examples of how you would apply these to your daily work routine.
8 Outline how you would obtain feedback (at least 3 ways) in the workplace from colleagues, clients and customers to ensure further development of your skills.
9 Conduct a Skills Audit of your knowledge and skills in relation to your current role or use the attached Valleyview Statement of Duties. (You need to find the gaps in your skill/knowledge to contribute to your Learning and Development Plan).
10 Create a Learning and Development Plan showing at least four new skills you wish to achieve. Include how you will undertake training and relevant timelines. Use a table format.
