Each student is expected to complete an independent research activity that will make a significant contribution to accomplishing the dissertation.

Critical literature review – Evaluation of all types of secondary data (LO, 2 & 4)
Introduce a conceptual framework of the study – Research questions and hypothesis (theoretical framework and case study context if applicable)
Research Methodology - Research Philosophy – Research Design
Describe Primary research aims – Introduce Qualitative and Quantitative Research (LO, 1)
Assessment of data quality, Data collection and analysis methods, including sampling and instrumentation considerations, synthesis of findings – triangulations’  
Provide implications for managers, Ethical issues and limitations

Please note that the research topic chosen for analysis in this assignment must relate to international hospitality and tourism management
