You should take the time to make this project an effective development tool for your future.  You will need to consider:

    Opportunities that are available to you now, or in the future
    Financial and personal goals
    Your desired work-life balance
    Your health
Your first step is to conduct a systematic self analysis on your performance and direction through obtaining feedback from your employer, employees, clients, colleagues and your trainer.  This feedback is vital to ensure you have a holistic view of your current standing, and should be assessed against competency standards to determine your development needs, priorities and plans.    You can see the competency standards for this unit in the course outline and also in the checklist in your resources folder on our eLearning site .  You should record the feedback you obtain from your work colleagues and employer on BSBWOR501_feedback form.
