In this assignment a case study has been discussed where in an oil rig organization how the employees were eager to work in the beginning but later they started losing the interest in their job and then when an employee was killed when he was working in his area then the he was only proven guilty by saying that he was not trained properly. In an organization if the organizational practice is not fulfilled by any organization then it causes a lot of problem for the employees working there and also for the organization. An organization can get the best work from the employees only at that when they are supportive towards their employees and look into those matters where the employees are facing problems and help them in solving those problems. The assortments and the globalization have created a challenge and competitive opportunities for the organizations. The organizational behavior is also shown in the place of work certainty. This gives a detail of the workers direct incentives and their performance with the leadership and team consistency and how all this gives importance to the team power and also to the individual power of the organizational efficiency. As the company mainly looks for workers who has not only technological intelligence but also have group competencies and emotional intelligence (Sharma, and Sahoo,2012).
Identifying the Various Ways of Job Dissatisfaction expressed by the employees in LINK 650
According to the case study it has been found that when the employees joined the organization they were very enthusiastic to work in the oil rig. But after working for few days they got a real shock when they have to work in the chilling weather of North Sea but some employees left the job as they were unable to work in that weather. But most of the employees were eager o show their capability to the organization. But later the managers started behaving with them very badly. The managers used to treat their employees as they were treated when they were employees. The managers used to abuse the employees regarding their work. When the employees used to complain their managers about the equipments problems then the managers used to tell them that should not bother themselves regarding these matters and concentrate in their own work. As the employees were not satisfied with the work style of their organization and also the treatment they used to get from their seniors or managers and then they started taking leaves on the name of sick leave and stopped coming to the organization. Then many problems started in the rig and those problems was also unknown to the supervisors also as they did not anything in details. The supervisors were not at all interested about knowing the problems that their employees were facing during their work. They used to think that they are lazing around, as they do not have any interest in their work. Shaun O’ Neil has also faced this type of situation (Senge, 2014). One day he closely saved from being shack. As one of the supervisor saw him working slowly but the supervisor thought that he was lazing around but the main reason was that the work he was doing in that one of the equipment parts damaged and O Neil was facing a lot of problem in fixing that part. But the problems the employees were facing that with the parts they were working were damaged and the supervisors was not at all interested in knowing all that (Sani, and Hara, 2013).
