The purpose of this individual scenario analysis is to develop students’ skills in applying relevant marketing analysis tools. This will enable students to apply learned marketing theories and concepts to a ‘real world’ business scenario within a safe learning environment. Individually you are required to choose a brand of a product or a service that you use on a daily basis here in Australia. It is important to note, that when you are selecting a product or a service, you also need to ensure that you can gather credible and most importantly scholarly information. Once you have made your selection and you can find credible information, you will then need to write 1000 words analysis, addressing the following questions:
1. Apply the consumer decision-making process to the brand of a product/service of your choice. Which steps will your follow in making a decision to purchase the product/service of your choice? 2. Identify and discuss the four factors that may impact on a consumer decision-making process to buy your selected brand of a product/service? These are cultural, social, individual and psychological factors. Provide reasons for your answer. 3. Based on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Which levels of needs do you think this brands’ product/service fulfils? Provide reasons for your answer.
