Demonstrate a capacity in both writing and oral presentation of a technical report Project Title: Robotics in the Cloud Synopsis: This project focuses on the development, testing and evaluation of an infrastructure for mobile cloud robotics. The infrastructure will be composed of lightweight mobile robots equipped with sensor technologies (such as RGB-D cameras) that will be connected to the Nectar Cloud environment [http://cloud.nectar.org.au/]. The swarm of mobile robots will gather real-time contextual data to be analysed on the cloud environment. This technology can be applied to 3D mapping in dynamic environments, intelligent sensor networks, situational awareness and distributed reconnaissance, among others.
