The first 45 - 60 mins of the lab time will be devoted Root Locus*(item 7 above) individual study, Stability (Routh-Hurwitz *(item 6 above)) and Design Study. The handout contains all the necessary details required (theory, design example, etc.) for this lab session.
2. The remaining time (~ 2 hours) will be to do the following: (a) Reproduce all the design results of the given example (Figures 6.7, 6.8, 6.9 and 6.10) where Kp =10 and Kd = 5. To do this, you will need to use MATLAB as outlined in the example.
