The manager of Western Widgets (Mavolio Bent) is keen to negotiate and establish a Service Level Agreement to take some of the pressure off his overworked IT Department.  
Project Tasking
Negotiate and prepare a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to meet the needs Western Widgets. This SLA must have a comprehensive disaster recovery appendix.
Execution
To be successful in this project you will need to closely adhere to the bench marks communicated in the Marking Criteria companion document.
If at any time you need data to compliment data gathering activities, contact your supervisor and the appropriate raw data will be supplied. If required, your supervisor will put you in contact with key people in the business.
A SLA template has been provided for you in a file named Appendix B: SLA Template.
Progress Monitoring
At various points in time your supervisor will ask you to report on the progress of your task. This will take the form of an informal interview referring directly to the benchmarks as progress indicators.
Communication
At any point in the project you require clarification you are to contact your supervisor.
