Analyse the politics of health services in rural, regional and remote areas.
Describe the construction of ill health as a physiological, social and psychological
experience.
Describe the major theoretical approaches to health and well-being for individuals
and their communities.
Identify the social and economic determinants of health, illness and disability.
Answer the following questions. Allow approximately 500 words per question. Each question
should reference a minimum of 3 different sources of literature, totaling a minimum of 9 different
sources of literature for this assignment.

1. What is a social determinants of health perspective?
2. What are the benefits to a society for taking action on a social determinants of health
perspective?
3. Describe a public health approach to health care and two examples of a social work role
