Assignment Task:
The assignment task for this semester is to:
Visit a Crown Court and a Magistrates court, spend at least two hours observing proceedings in criminal cases which will then form the basis for a short report detailing and evaluating the entire experience.
You can detail one experience or you can compare two different case visits.
You must provide properly referenced evidence for all of the claims/assertions you make – that means backing up your own opinions with evidence.
The Report must be written in neutral tone – for example, do not use ‘I’, ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘you’ and please remember that spelling, grammar, sentence structure and punctuation are important.
