This business proposal reflects the role of project management theories and practices in project execution. The project nominated for which the business proposal is prepared is “Fund-raising event”. The event is planned to raise money so that a COVID safe home can be designed. Due to late treatment the mortality rate in Australia is increasing. The economic profit gained from the event will be used to design a safe home, where the COVID patients will get all necessary treatment and facilities like other hospitals. The total budget and time allocated for the project is $450,000 and 1 year. Charles Darwin University should offer the business grant for the project.1.
COVID-19 outbreak has affected the Australian economic like all our countries. In Australia till date there are around 260 cases per million. In order to provide quick treatment, a group of physicians are planned to be appointed and a “safe-home” is planned to be designed for the COVID patients. Though, after that it can be used for other patients as well. The patients will get all necessary treatment facilities in the safe-home.
The business proposal depicts an idea for a “fund raising event”. The fund-raising event will be hosted in a ground area where musical bands will perform (Kaistha, 2020). The fund will be used to design the COVID “safe home”. Some business options are provided in the proposal.in order to quantify the viability of this proposed project Weighted scoring model is used. The possible benefits that may generate from the fund-raising event are presented here. 4- Implementation of website for selling the tickets for the event, the weighted score is 74.5. the weighted score for project is highest among all. Due to this reason, the option 2 project is chosen.

Constraints are referred to as boundaries or limitation that is considered to restrict a project. Constraints are necessary for every project because it ensures that the project manager and team will not exceed the boundary (Berger, 2018). For this proposal the constraints considered include scope, time, budget, risk, resources and quality. The constraints details are elaborated below-
The scope of the project is to arrange a fund-raising event. People from all over Australia are welcome to the event. The event will be a musical one. Many local and a well-known musical band will perform on the event (Fogarassy et al., 2017). The tickets for the show are available online and offline. Interested people can buy tickets from both the platforms. Apart from that, accurate marketing activities will also be performed to promote the event.
