Conduct research concerning the diagnosis and rectification of all the following building faults:
• Structural cracks within a precast concrete system; and
• Water penetration through a curtain wall; and
• Corrosions within a steel structure
Based on each of the above building faults, report (including illustrations, sketches and/or photos) the:
• Recognition of possible effects of the fault
• Assessment of possible damage and the diagnosis of possible causes of defect
• Rectification of the fault
• Monitoring rectified work
Report will be based on commercial high-rise building examples/projects.

Being proactive towards issues that could be subject of complaints or regulatory investigations is an important component of the proper project management of the development site.
You have been engaged by the principal contractor to prepare a plan on how to manage potential complaints during the works stage of the development project. This plan will be used during the works stage of the development to offset delays caused by complainants and regulatory investigation/action processes.
Your complaint management plan shall detail how you will manage the following expected challenges for the development project:
Compliance with approval and conditions off that approval
Sediment and Erosion Control issues
Noise Management of machinery, workers and construction processes generally
Traffic management and in particular worker parking, material deliveries, pedestrian movement outside of site and peak traffic times.

Elevators/Lifts have been instrumental in the evolution of tall buildings.
Research the history of elevators and provide commentary on how this invention and subsequent improvements led to the increase of tall building developments. Your response should detail the earliest examples of elevators, the inventors, what relevant components of these elevators made them safe for tall building use and how elevators continue to be innovative to be installed in current super tall buildings.
Your response can include photos and illustrations showing early versions of elevators and their relevant innovations that assisted in the increased and safe use of these building elements.
