Running head: BUSINESS MANAGEMENT BUSINESS MANAGEMENT Name of the student Name of the university Author note 1 BUSINESS MANAGEMENT Introduction The sustainable development goals (SDG) in an organization focus towards improving the degree of the business operations while increasing the CSR initiatives of the same. It has been observed that every organization take the initiative of designing a range of CSR initiatives, policies and procedures with the purpose of improving the operational aspects and adhering to the triple bottom line needs of sustenance. In this connection, it has been observed that the nature of change in the organizational operations are based on the efficient functioning of the different syst ems while addressing the common strategic needs of the businesses (Ahtesham 2020 ). In this connection, the SDGs empower an organization in improving the prospects of their CSR settings. The concerned organization has been encountering a significant iss ue in empowering quality education . Therefore, the research would take the initiative of developing insights on the different areas of concerns that are being faced by the organization and the manner in which the same might be mitigated. Causes for the concern in the organization The concerned organization has been encountering significant concerns due to the lack of sufficient knowledge on the changing processes and the lower availability of talents and skills in the markets. It has been observed that the concerned organization is mostly focused towards developing the resource and capabilities while transmitting quality information to educate and maintain the progressive nature of its operations. Pachar (2020) stated that the availability of the skilled and experienced talents is an important aspect that is considered by the businesses with the pu rpose of making a sustainable move towards development of their CSR activities. In this connection, the concerned organization aimed towards pro viding the children of their staff 2 BUSINESS MANAGEMENT members with quality education and professional development programs s their CSR activity while making a contribution towards constructing a positive social culture. However, it has been observed that the organization i s unable to source skilled an experienced talents who would support the business in empowering their CSR activity a per the procedures and the policies (Turker 2018) . The unavailability of the talents from the different markets might affect the capability of the concerned organization in empowering their CSR activity based on the SDG. On the other hand, the insufficiency of financial funds is again an important concern that is being faced by the concerned organization while developing their provisions for the educational and professional skill development program. Sanchez (2019) opined that the different activities that are planned by the businesse s are specifically reliant on the financial capital and efficiency of their resource structures which is significantly important for the continuous growth and expansion of the same while implementing new processes (Dean, Gibbons and Perkiss 2018 ). In this connection , it has been observed that the concerned business encountered significant challenges due t o the insufficiency of their financial resources, which curbed their capability of improving the deg ree of success factors for their chosen CSR activities. It has been observed that the business has been encountering a significant challenge of mobilizing t heir funds and attracting the attention of the investors to release their assets towards the CSR setting of the business (Virakul and Russ -Eft 2019 ). Moreover, the lack of sufficient amount of collaboration with the regional universities and the profess ional development institutions significantly limited the capability of the organization in ensuring the growth and development of the business. Therefore, the 3 BUSINESS MANAGEMENT organizational goal of improving the degree of education among the staff members, the children of the staff members and provisions of professional development for all is being limited through the lower availability of the skilled and experienced talents in the regional markets, the lower financial capability of the business and the lack of sufficient networking and collaboration with the foreign universities and professional development institutions (Setó -Pamies and Papaoikonomou 2020 ). Consequences of the concern The concerns t hat are being faced by the organization while functionalizing the CSR initiatives of improving the quality of education through their professional and educational campaigns affected the growth of the venture (Mukhi and Quental 2019 ). It has been observed that the organiza tion focused towards improving the quality of the education among the staff members and their children or the job aspirants through the development of educational and professional development courses and seminars. According to a research it has been observed that more than 42% of the people in the region was found to be uneducated due to their lower affordability (ElAlfy et al. 2020 ). The lack of literacy again affected the capability of the concerned organization in attracting or sourcing skilled and experienced workforce for improving their business pot entials. In this connection, the lack of sufficient amount of experienced and skilled personnel sourcing would limit the business in implementing the educational and professional development campaigns for the people who cannot afford educational institut ions. On the other hand, the lack of sufficient financial capabilities affected the capability of the organization in subsidizing the educational programs for the children of their own staff 4 BUSINESS MANAGEMENT members. The goal of the organization is to improve the quality of education among the people. However, the lack of sufficient collaboration and networking with the different educational institutions and universities has affected the capability of the organization in empowering their CSR activity of improving the qua lity of educational facilities to the community and their own staff members (Nurunnabi et al. 2020) . The lack of mitigation or resolution of the concerns and challenges might affect the capability of the concerned organization in improving the educational scenario of the community while improving the skills and talents of their own workforce. Recommended activities that might be considered by the organization The recommended course of actions that might be considered by the concerned organization are: De veloping collaboration with the educational institutions and universities : The collaboration with the educational institutions and the universities would allow the business in gaining a competitive edge while improving their prospects of upholding the educ ational seminars, workshops and the professional development courses. Th e networking and collaboration with the universities and the professional training and development organizations or institutes would allow the organization in developing a new scope of channelizing their efforts of providing the stakeholders with quality education. The mutual collaboration between the universities and the organization would again support in improving their scope of finding and sourcing skilled and experienced talents f rom the different markets in order to empower their operational processes. Moreover, the close collaboration with the different universities would allow the 5 BUSINESS MANAGEMENT organization in reducing their expenses of setting up the educational and professional training act ivities while continuing with their operations based on their CSR priorities. Implementing a lean model towards operations for increasing sustainable functions : It has been observed that the application of the lean model in the organizational premise supp ort a business in increasing the efficiency of the business operations while empowering the continuous growth and development. The concerned organization, likely, must implement the lean operational model with the purpose of reducing their operational expe nses and thereby mobilize their funds towards the educational and professional development activities. The activities would significantly support the organization in imp roving the quality of education among the staff mem bers and the other stakeholders, as per their organizational objectives. Conclusion Therefore, from the above assessment it might be stated that the concerned organization encountered significant concerns like insufficiency of financial funds, lack of suf ficient talents and inadequacy of collaboration with different educational institutes. However, the research demonstrated the manner in which the organiza tion might resolve the concerns with the purpose of stimulating their CSR activities as per the SDG of priding quality education. The different areas of change in the organizational operations would significantly support in improving the quality of the sustainable practices of the venture. 6 BUSINESS MANAGEMENT References Ahtesham, S., 2020.
