In this Cluster students (Candidates) must demonstrate outcomes required to enable an entrant into the real estate industry to gain an understanding of the industry and work ethically and effectively in a real estate agency. This includes awareness of ethical and conduct standards, developing a business plan, marketing the agency, legislative and regulatory frameworks and industry requirements.
This assessment is an open book assessment which can be completed by the candidate in their own time. It is n important that all questions in this assessment are completed. The assessment tasks may not be straightforward and to assist in the planning and submitting of responses to the questions the candidate:
a.must read through the student workbook carefully;
b.if necessary, undertake additional research to supplement material in the student workbook;
c.if necessary, discuss proposed responses with their trainer;
d.if undertaking a traineeship or if the candidate is employed in the real estate sector they may
discuss their responses with their supervisor or colleagues. Assessments in this Cluster may include two or more of the following formats:
a) Multiple Choice;
b) Short to Medium length Answer;
c) Case Study(s);
d) Role Play
