One of the reasons behind focusing on the oil and gas construction industry is its higher dependency on capital investments ( Al Mhdawi 2020) . The gas and oil construction industry consists of various stakeholders, influence on the environment, society as well as technology complexity that could lead to significant damage to the project success of the oil and gas construction industry ( Asante et al., 2018) . Thus, it is essential to appoint a skilled project manager to conduct a study on the oil and gas construction industry and identify the potential threats along with providing appropriate strategies to mitigate those threats. Project Plan Overview This research project will focus on the determination of threats that are impacting the gas and oil construction industry. In addition to these determinations, it will also focus on the development of appropriate strategies to mitigate the identified limitations ( Cahyandito 2017) . The key concept of this project plan is to develop research that will critically evaluate the operational fundamentals of the gas and oil construction industry along with discussing the complexities present in this industry that significantly harms the service efficiency of the gas and oil construction industry. Apart from this conduction of this research will provide an overview of how a PMI professional work in complex project areas such as the gas and oil construction industry. The research project will be performed by using journal articles and research studies. Project Objectives Followings are the objectives of Oil and Gas complex program capstone project: -  The main objective of this research project is to identify the risks in oil and gas construction project that creates major impact ( Gumz 2012) .  Determination of strategies for managing major risks of oil and gas construction projects.  Determine the importance of PMI trained project manager to undertaken risk management in the Oil and Gas complex program.  Identify the influence of risk management in project success. However, there are still some potential constraints of this research project that are listed in the section below: -  The selection of secondary data analysis could increase difficulties in formulating the final findings however, due to the pandemic situation it is not possible to conduct primary research study. Hence, this can be considered as one of the limitations of this project.  Time is one of the constraints of this project as completing the research on a vast area like gas and oil construction industry is a time-consuming task however, it is expected to complete the project within 10months that is one of the constraints of this project.  Lack of previous study in this area might create difficulties to collect required data for the research. Assumptions It is assumed that the project will be completed within the given budget and the selected data sources are appropriate for the study.
