As now we have already got some knowledge regarding this technology. Here we will be discussing the AR/VR
technology-based device called Hololens that isused in healthcare sector during this pandemic outburst by the
healthcare professionals. Itisamixed reality device that enhance collaborations by using apps and devices. The
Hololens isMicrosoft's view of virtual reality, that they label "mixed reality." Using numerous sensors,
advanced optics, and augmented reality technology that smoothly blends with the surroundings, these holograms
may be used to view content, merge with the actual world, and even replicate afictional environment. Doctors
are using Microsoft HoloLens in its Covid-19 locations to keep surgeons healthy while they support patients
with the outbreak. Using Virtual Support, doctors using HoloLens atCovid-19 will keep hands-free video
conferencing from workers and experts anywhere in the globe. They can seek guidance, communicate with the
client and the patient atthe same time, whereas medical records and X-rays can even be put alongside the client
in the field of view .

applicability, which they say has more computing capacity than the normal laptop. All this needs to come
together again to recognise the visual perception of the objects in the room and combine holographic images
into the atmosphere. Moreover, HoloLens enables customers to place 3-d designs in the room alongside them
and communicate by them through expressions, glance and audio .
Asignificant aspect of the HoloLens isthe motion detecting sensor that lies over the viewfinder atthe top of the
headset. There's even a2-megapixel recording device in front so you can film just what you're seeing the
supplied holographic images. The HoloLens optical system iscomprised of augmented reality lenses who use an
optical digital projector to laser holographic images into your eyes. Maybe the most interesting aspect of the

healthcare workers like nurses and doctors. HoloLens isgoing to change the way healthcare workers think about
diagnostic imaging. Patients and nurses or doctors will no longer sit behind two cameras with asegmented view
of each other's world. HoloLens may allow healthcare providers to step into the patient's setting and
communicate more critically. Other pro isimmediate response in case of emergency. Itallows patients to
consult with doctors in acase of any emergency. Instead calling 911 or for an ambulance, patients just must
switch to HoloLens and take prescription from their doctors immediately. They don ’thave to wait for the
ambulance or any emergency help to arrive in that time.
As this technology comes with pros italso has some cons. Ithas some major effects on health. Health hazards
can occur when people are engaged in acompletely imagined world, likely impacting their emotionally and
physically well-being. First hazard can be anxiety. The interactive design of virtual and augmented reality will
contribute to discomfort or depression after more than afew moments of wearing afull-occlusion headset.
Virtual reality could even bring vibrations of emotional responses, probably depends on what photos and videos
they see. Virtual reality video of the war in Syria, for example, will make the audience feel scared, anxious, and
depressed. Second effect can be nausea. Some individuals who are using VR headsets say they feel light-
headedness. Its artificial virtual motion that can influence aperson's sense of space and time which may
contribute to exhaustion, nausea, or fainting. Third hazard to health can be radiation exposure. Sensor -based
equipment such as VR headphones theoretically introduces the consumer to dangerous electromagnetic

helped in this pandemic to cure patients and helped health care workers as well. The coming future isexpected
to be in less contact with people as the world isbrainstorming on the “contactless future ”.Taking that into
consideration the use of these technology will be of great use to humanity. Although ithas some cons as well
but talking about the whole world and the coming world situation, we think we can also come with some
solutions to overcome these disadvantages.
