IITC001-Introduction to Technical Communication
Compose a creative way to describe your lessons learnt case study and present to class. Write a reflection on the process you went through to develop your creative presentation and explain what it represents.
Part A: Lessons Learnt in Engineering and IT Creative Representation
Students develop a creative way to inform the class about their lessons learnt project. The project can concentrate on specific aspects or the whole event. Examples include animation, board games, songs, videos, poems, computer game, videos, reenactments, radio shows, TV interviews etc. Length of production approx. 3 mins.
Part B: Reflection
Students critically reflect on the role of learning from lessons in engineering and IT projects and discuss how this resulted in the creative work. Reflection is completed prior to class and submitted on TURNITIN. At least one graphic should be included. Students should concentrate on the reasons behind the decisions that were made and avoid just “recounting” or telling about the process. Students should use correct paragraph and sentence structure when writing their reflection.
1.Describe the creative composition and it’s inspiration.
2.Evaluate choice of medium (ie film vs model).
3.Explain the major issue highlighted to the audience.
4.Summarise what was personally learnt from the creative experience and any theories that support this learning.
5.Relate this task to professional practice and state what you would change if you did it again.
