Different types of skills are required in this course study that can be applied in accordance with state legalisation and Commonwealth legalisation with different types of industry practice code with the New Zealand and Australia standards. This module describes the performance criteria that can describe the performance which is required to demonstrate the achievement of all the elements for this course study. The nonverbal and verbal communication to enhance the demonstrate an understanding of the common user and information regarding communication services which is easily and clearly understandable. With the help of this course study, students will understand the importance of effective communication in the community and health service sector. Different types of organisation procedures and processes function for a comfortable and safe environment to maintain and improve good relations with each other within an organisation. 1.1.Explanation of the course code In this course, code CHCCOM005 refers to communicating and working in health or community. From this course, students can understand several topics based on the communication and work in health or the community. Several topics based on this course study are general overview of the communication and work in community services and health sectors, communication strategies in an effective way including the principles of the effective communication, elements of the communication, and techniques of the communication, communicate services, collaborate with colleagues including the line identification of the communication, agree and clarify the time frames, use the terminology of an industry, Follow the protocols of the communication, difficult situations including boundaries of work role, resolve the conflict situation, and Identify the communication constraints, report problems to the supervisor including the ethical and legal consideration in the communication, working in community services and Health Services including the funding environment and the relationships between the community services and Health Services, workplace correspondence and the documentation, health sector and digital media, improvement in a continuous manner including the skill development opportunities, seek advice and feedback, and contribute to the identifying improvements. This course study is important to those who have interested in it.

This course study is designed to extend and refers to the skills, competence, and knowledge within controlled parameters that are set for the learning outcomes of each unit with the requirement for performance criteria that includes the application task based on the practical work is designed to prove the competence outcomes that are provided with the evidence within the scheduled timeline and periodic timeline. Students are expecting the demonstration of some required skills, including communication skills, principles of effective communication, following the protocols of the communication, working in community services and health services workplace correspondence and the documentation, and digital media, improvement in a continuous manner. Students are also expecting knowledge demonstration, including ethical and legal consideration in the communication, principles of effective communication, and the ability to communicate with the patient in an effective way. Social workers can communicate with their clients to convey critical information and gain that information to make important decisions on a regular basis. With the help of this course study, students can understand that communication is an important part for both work and home and the purpose of the communication is to exchange meaning, feeling, information, and ideas. Communication is all about pressing the mind and heart that is understandable by other people. From this course study, students can gain knowledge regarding three modes of the communication including presentational, interpretive, and interpersonal in which presentational is one way communication for directive negotiation with no direct opportunity which can be presented in front of the audience, viewer, listener, or reader, interpretive is also a communication to the action negotiation with no recourse and that is associated with theaudience, viewer, listener, or reader, and interpersonal is the two way communication with active negotiation between individuals.

The weightage of this course study is based on the topics including general overview of the communication and work in community services and health sectors, communication strategies in an effective way including the principles of the effective communication, elements of the communication, and techniques of the communication, communicate services, collaborate with colleagues including the line identification of the communication, agree and clarify the time frames, use the terminology of an industry, follow the protocols of the communication, difficult situations including boundaries of work role, report problems to the supervisor including the ethical and legal consideration in the communication, working in community services and health services workplace correspondence and the documentation, health sector and digital media, improvement in a continuous manner including the skill development opportunities, seek advice and feedback, and contribute to the identifying improvements. The lecturer of this course study that is communicate and work in health or community will divide the above topics into sections, and the lecturer will take the assessment task and allocate 50% marks for the total sections. After that, the lecturer will take the final examination based on this course study after completing all the topics discussed above and the remaining 50% marks will be allocated for the final examination. Students have to bring at least 50% to get the pass mark on this course study.
