This is an academic essay. REQUIREMENTS  This is an academic essay so dot points will not be accepted -i.e. use sentences.  The essay should be written and presented in a scholarly manner  1.5 line spacing  Include a title page with your name.  Include accurate and systematic in-text referencing and a bibliography using APA 7 TH Referencing: The essay should have a Reference List    Tips to write journal critique Introduction 1: The introduction clearly outlines the topic and sketches the scope, content and the sequence of the essay topic. The research design 3: Exceptional knowledge of the research design (methodology) including appropriateness of the design. The research method 4: Using the CASP tool, competently discussed the setting, how the data were collected and analysed, the sample size and instruments used. Findings and their relevance to contemporary nursing 5: Comprehensive understanding of the findings and their relevance to contemporary nursing policy and practice. Critical analysis 6: Evidence of critical analysis throughout. Uses each step of the CASP tool and sub- questions. Clear comparison with other studies Use of evidence 7: Ideas are always supported with evidence from primary research literature. Grammar, spelling and punctuation 8: Excellent writing style with clear meaning. There are minimal errors with grammar, spelling and punctuation. Referencing: Approved APA referencing approach 5 marks 9: Referencing is consistently accurate. At least 4 references cited.
