For the final assignment in this course, students write a [2,500 word approx.] feature article on a pressing popular culture issue of your choice. Follow the ideas established in your blueprint assignment. Referencing: No in-text academic referencing system is required for this assignment. Your research article is to be written as a long-form piece of journalism (i.e. perhaps similar to a print and/or online magazine article) that you can use as a portfolio piece. Nonetheless, it is not simply an opinion piece, you must include other ideas and other authors as part of your discussion. Please include a “Reference List” in Chicago style at the end of your article (in case I would like to fact-check one of your claims). There should be a minimum of five sources used for this essay. You may use hyperlinks throughout your article as sources as well.
