The Buddhist art consists of different form of sculptures and media which was related to Buddha’s, different types of historical figures, bodhisattvas, different types of lives that the people lived, mandalas, and various kind of events that was related with the Buddhist.The different forms of dramas, music, poetry was also the part of the Buddhist art. There are different types of example related to the Buddhist art which was recovered. One of the earliest recovered form of Buddhist art was linked with the different symbols used by them which represents their didactic intention. The symbols represented the life of the Buddha. Over the year it was observed that the Buddhist art has grown and included various types of iconography and different styles. The scholars stated that the art work of the Buddhist comprises of different human figures. The art related history of the Buddhist was created by the European scholars and different travellers in the 19^th century. The art was described with respect to the different parameters which were available in the materials of the remaining paintings, sculpture, intellectual framework and buildings. The Buddhist art also contained certain contemporary objects which can be used for different devotional purposes. The Buddhist art have received great attention from different scholars. The art of the Buddhist created a deep impact on the viewer and consisted of various creative ideas in it. The Nara architecture was influenced by the Buddhist artwork. The architecture which belonged to the Nara period consists of different elements that was borrowed from the Tang dynasty which prevailed in china and were deeply focussed on Buddhism. Due to this reason most of the architecture belonging to the Nara period consists of Buddhist temples. The city of Nara is one of the great example of the architecture prevailing during the Nara period. The urban designers who were present made different architectures which were the copy of the different elements of the Chinese capitals. The architecture consisted of the grid layout which was the duplicate form of the Chinese architecture. The city of Nara was one of the major or important point situated on the Silk road, which became the centre of worship for Buddhist in Japan. This place is also known as Heijo Palace. The buildings that were made during the Nara period were of wood, painted in red, golden or black colours. the roofs of the building were covered with blue tinted tiles, the ends of the roof that was tilted towards the walls was known as the eaves were usually elevated at the corners. The buildings had undergone several earthquakes, and other damages. This is thereason that there is less example of buildings of the Nara period.  The religious buildings during this period consisted of many departments such as the main hall, Zen room, sanctuary hall and a pagoda. However, the architecture of the Nara period was well organized and mainly build in a rectangular structure.
