1 Academic Year 2020 – 2021 C10178 Project Management Apps Winter 2021 Take Home Test Take Home Test – Case Study 1. Project Selection: You can choose anyone of the following and follow a new product development and project management process. As dis cussed in class follow the questions to build your MS Project file and vice versa. Assume there is a market and you have received an executive mandate to move forward. Since this is a take home test (combined for test 1 and 2) and with accessibility to res ources, there are increased requirements for the project plan to be developed in MS Project. Project selection ( Selection made for you – please read your email ): You have a period of 6 months or 1 year max to execute the project . Select the appropriate ti me based on your research for respective project. You are required to do level 4 and assign resources to all activities. Anywhere from 60 to 70 tasks is acceptable. All tasks need to be specific to the above projects . Generic tasks will not receive full marks. Please refer to Rubric below at the end of test . Assume you have a building 2 g) Construct a 3000 square feet house. h) Setup a grocery shop similar to Hasty Market i) Plan a job fair event j) Plan a wedding k) Plan a catering event for 200 people with 20 different dishes.
