Reflecting on the Moses story through Contemporary Culture
The assignment has 2 parts:
Reflect on the Moses stories through contemporary culture by finding passages in media (either a poem, drama or a novel - just one of them) to show how Moses' story is true for our times. - Include references to the Exodus theme by relating the Scripture story to the reality lived today. The theme is Exodus and the questions that I need to be answered are:
a). What are the students of today a slave to?
b). Who are their Pharaohs?
c). What do they need liberation from?
d). Who is their "Moses", calling them, encouraging them out of their enslavement?
e). How are they being invited to respond?
Explains in detail how the chosen piece of media (either poem, novel or drama) exemplifies the Exodus theme from the Moses story. How can it be connected to our contemporary culture?
