Research Report:

The report will present the findings of pilot research you proposed and then conducted. You can bring questions you have to class or make an appointment with me to discuss them.

In terms of report writing choose a format from an existing journal of interest, a format derived from a research design textbook (I.e., Creswell, 2003). An example provided here:

Sample of Qualitative Research Report: ?

Introduction :statement of problem, purpose of study, theoretical perspective, research questions, delimitations, limitations

Procedures: Research strategy, role of the researcher, data collection procedures, data analysis procedures, strategies for ensuring trustworthiness

Review of Literature: Findings

Discussion: Concluding statements, Significance of the study, Lessons learned, Future directions
