LinkedIn Profiles
Accounting professional is a person who is detail oriented and efficient knowledge and experience under the accounting system. First LinkedIn profile of accounting professional is of James Solomons who is an innovative business leader who has drawn experience from range of industries and has bring learnings as a Head of Accounting at Xero Australia from 2014-2018 (Business Depot, 2020). Besides, another LinkedIn profile is of Nina Trofimova CPA CA is the outsourced Chief Finance Officer (CFO). First difference which can be examined from both of the profiles is that James is a business leader and has made the transition from the high-tech company ASX. While, Nina is an outsourced CFO and acts as the business partner.
The second difference which can be examined from the skills that both of the brands have. James has extensive skills in terms of Retail and Channel Distribution and investment management. Whereas, Nina partners with the stakeholders externally and internally along with HR and operational efficiency (LinkedIn, 2020). Third difference which can be seen is the knowledge of accounting. James has made growth in the business by applying the concepts for the finance division. Moreover, Nina has interests in interacting with the people and make the business records which can help in business enterprises to improve the accounting and procedures.
My Personal Brand
My personal brand will be created by the achieving of knowledge and experience in the accounting industry. I need to have extensive knowledge about the accounting system. Also, as a well-known accounting professional, I need to have problem solving and analytical skills. Apart from this, I need to have verbal and written skills. I also require to be ethical and trustworthy while managing of the accounts of my clients. Besides, building contacts will be the key factor in my personal profile as accounting professional (Murphy, 2017). In the creation of my personal brand, I require to have good knowledge about the budgets and financial forecasting.
Strength and Weakness of Personal Brand
When entering into the accounting profession, I have various strengths which I can utilize for the purpose of building up of my career. I have strength of excellent knowledge in accounting in which I can make the proper management of financial accounts. I have strong analytical skills and have the ability to meet the financial standards while inspecting books of accounts (Farag & Elias, 2016). Besides, the weakness of my career is concerned to be the lack of making connections for making clients. I have lack of verbal skills which is a hurdle while making interaction and undertaking the business procedures.
One Specific Action
One specific action that I would undertake is the overcoming of the weaknesses which can certainly help me in becoming the better professional. For that I would make participation in the accounting/finance seminars in which I would make attempts to build the connection and also step ahead in my professional career. This will help me in sharing ideas and knowledge for improving the business procedures (Murphy, 2017).
