The RACV club provides various services, from which the following are the subsystems it contains (RACV, 2017):
- Management Service, to maintain the services of the club including the employee management.
- Leisure activities for all age groups, which requires appropriate service management.
- Tours and travel service organizing and booking.
- Food and Drink service, to order food for customers with billing.
- Reservation & Booking Service for reserving the rooms and make billing.
System
In an organization, the system is defined as a combination of parts that forms a single entity. The process are different from the system, where the processes occur inside the business system. The processes follow organized steps for getting the required outcome. The systems don’t provide any kind of output, instead they form a structure and an environment inside the organization, where the processes can exist (Study.com, 2017).
Subsystem
In an organization, the subsystem is defined as a part of a larger system such as inventory management, order fulfillment and delivery. Subsystem refers to the employees from a small group who work as a team in a large organization. For instance, the organization contains various processes, for instance the online retailer has distribution as its subsystem. Then this particular subsystem will include people, processes, equipment and policies, for distributing the product or the services from the organization to the requested customers (Study.com, 2017).

Total Quality Management
Total quality management is also referred as TQM. It is defined as an approach that is followed in management for achieving the customer satisfaction in a long run. The TQM ensures participation of all the people present in an organization to improve the organization’s processes, work culture and product or services. TQM is referred as a successor of the modern Quality Management Systems (Asq.org, 2017).
Total Quality Management Systems
TQM follows a set of principles as its primary elements that can be formed as a management system to make the organization focus on their customers and have continuous improvement in the employees (Asq.org, 2017). The TQM system utilizes required strategy, information and communication for integrating and managing the activities in the organization. The following are the principles in TQM system (Asq.org, 2017):
The organization focuses on improving the customer experience with improved quality. This will ensure to have training for the employees, software upgrading, new tools and the design process will have integration of quality. The quality of service is determined only by the customers.
TQM concentrates on process thinking, because a process consists of various steps to meet the required outcome. To discard any kind of uncertain conditions, the steps following in the process are monitored constantly.
- Total Employee Involvement
All the employees are engaged in meeting the work goals with fear driven workplace that comprises of inspiration.
TQM aims at combining all the functions that actually exist in the organization. The integration is established with a strategy where all the members who are part of the organization know the vision, mission, quality policies, objectives, guiding principles and critical processes of the organization. The integration must follow ISO 9000 standards. The performance after the integration must be communicated and monitored.
- Strategic and Systematic Approach
Quality management requires strategic and systematic approach to meet the objective of the organization.
Communication is very important, as it encompasses of methods and strategies.
The continuous improvement helps the growth of the organization and becomes capable to meet the expectations of the stakeholders.
- Fact-Based Decision Making
The performance of the organization must be analyzed based on the data that shows the performance measures, as it helps in taking right decision.
