Page 3 of 6 Assignment Task: Assessment Part 3 Financial statements are written records of a business's financial situation. They stand as one of the more essential components of business information. a) Students are required to organise themselves into groups of three (3) students. b) As a group you are required to prepare and present in class a Group Presentation on principles behind the construction of published financial statements and which main statements form part of the published financial statements. Apply these principles to the 2017 Pets at Home financial statements which can be obtained from page 116 onwards from 
Further Instructions:
• This presentation is worth 50% of the total marks for the module
• The Group Presentation work will be assessed in class by your module tutor and each student must present part of the presentation.
• Each group must not be more than 3 students. Members of the group must be approved by the tutor prior to the presentation taking place.
• Each student will receive equal marks for the Group Presentation task.
• Maximum time allowed for each Group Presentation: 30 minutes
• Failure to attend the scheduled presentation session and deliver in person will result in a non-submission for which a mark of zero will be recorded'.
