My knowledge of the distributed leadership that I have gained from this course has helped me to learn about the advantages of the given style of leadership. The implementation of the distributed leadership helped me provide the employees with options of continuing with the task at hand even during the unavailability of the concerned leader. The knowledge of the leadership styles has helped me in the maintenance of the traditional command chain within the organizational hierarchy. The presence of the command chain within the organization further refers to the conditions wherein the roles of the employees of the organization are clearly discussed and clearly distinguished from each other (Jones et al., 2014). The implementation of the distributed leadership helped me to decide on the future courses of action as well as the strategies that need to be implemented within the given organization in order to deal with the future issues that might arise within the concerned organization.

The implementation of the distributed leadership helped me to involve all the employees of the organization in the strategic development of the organization. The implementation of the style of leadership has helped me to bring about an increase in the engagement of the employees within the organization. The greater employee engagement within the organization aims to help in the smoother operations within the given company. this helps in the increase in the competitive advantage of the concerned company within the given market wherein the company has been featuring. The implementation of the style of leadership has helped me to implore as well as enable the employees to claim ownership of the tasks and the duties that they have been performing within the organization. This is due to the fact that the distributed leadership helps in the promotion of the creativity and the innovational aspects within the members of the workforce of the given organization (Chreim & MacNaughton, 2016). This in turn helps in the matters that are related to the increment of the employee performance of the concerned company. The increase in the employee engagement within the company aims to help the concerned organization to retain the employees who are known to have been maintaining the loyalty towards the given organization. the distributed leadership within the given company aims to deal with the upward movement within the given organization in discussion. This would assist me in the retention of the employees of the organization as well as provides the employees with the proper motivation to extend their services within the organization.

I would like to implement the distributed leadership approach within the organization since it would help me to take decisions on the basis of the discussions that involve the employees of the organization as well. The approach would help me in gaining knowledge on the matters that are related to the involvement and the engagement of the employees who have been offering their services to the company. The distributed leadership approach will also help me in gaining insight from my colleagues who have been assigned similar jobs. The leadership approach that I intend to undertake would help me in discussing the issues that lead to the conditions wherein the employees of the organization might choose to stop extending their services to the company. The employees of the organization are expected to remain loyal to an organization that provides them the facility of climbing up the organizational hierarchy on demonstrating the proper implementation of the strategic decisions.
