Business Process Modelling

Business process Modelling, abbreviated as BPM is one of the most prominent part of system engineering and business process management. It is considered as the activity of mapping the current business processes so that they can be analysed, automated and in the process improved. Hence, based upon the definition, it would be justified to state that the subject (BPM) develops a map that is capable of increasing process speed, mitigate cost & material, increase quality, reduce labour & other costs, reduce time cycle and other major activities (Rosemann and vom Brocke 2015).

Achieves

The primary advantage that can be achieved on adoption of the subject is that current processes can be analysed and simulated to achieve improved results. The discussed process enables the analysts to gain a clear understanding of the processes and their method of operations (La Rosa et al. 2015). Additionally, consistencies and control for the processes are another achievement due to the subject. The adoption of the process also enables the identification and elimination of the inefficiencies and redundancies. Another one of the prominent advantage that the discussed modelling process is capable of citing is offering a clear initiation and completion of the deemed processes. The subject even offers the advantage of identifying similar processes and predict the methods to process the processes for more efficient and effective outcome. 

Process

The tools in discussion can be used to develop UML (Unified Modelling Language) diagramming that includes activity diagram, use case diagram state machine diagram and others which is one of the prominent modelling technique. Additionally, the tools can be used to RAD (Role activity diagrams), RID (Role Interaction Diagrams) and other form of bpm techniques that take account of mapping with assistance of diagramming.
2. Project tools: BPM can also be presented with assistance of Gantt chart and hence, it enables the ICT professionals to use the project scheduling and management tool to map the business process models (Damji et al. 2016). MS Project, ProjectLibre and other tools can be of assistance for the professionals to develop the subject.
3. Process oriented programming: Process oriented programming can also be used for analytical presentation of the BPM and hence the tools that are associated with the discussed programming types can prove to be of great vitality for the business and system analysts associated with the subject (Käster, Heßler and Albayrak 2016). The software tools such as Elixir, Scala, Golang and others are some of the well-known software that can offer their assistance to the professionals for detailing the subject.

Similarly, multiple other tools and techniques can be used for the development of the business process model depending upon the type of BPM technique selected to present the processes of a subject. The tools can also be part of system such as BPMS (business process management system), ERP (Enterprise resource planning) and others.
