Steps for Reflective Writing on Learning Experience

The reflective report is imperative for gaining the depth understanding about case study leanings. The following table is used for demonstrating the weekly leanings of course:  

From week 1 to 12, I gained my awareness about many research tools and techniques as it would support to make a feasible decision with respect to the available situation.  I also gained my understanding about the role of outsourcing business in the maintenance of competitive advantage: a case study of Optus Australia that was a major concern for me (ClampitKedia, Fabian, and Gaffney, 2015). 

This business research study was imperative to improve my personal as well as professional skills because of making the research proposal that is emphasized on the role of outsourcing business in the maintenance of competitive advantage: a case study of Optus Australia that was a major concern for me. I observed that the outsourcing business leads the firm to gain awareness of the organization’s products and services (Bustinza, et al., 2017).

For this research study, I read and see many slides about the current research matter. I read many research topics before making the proposal that supports to gain my understanding with respect to the current concern.  I also use social media to understand the latest update towards the research matter and make a reliable decision in the context of research dilemma (Huo, et al., 2016).       

This business research was effective for me as it has developed my understanding regarding different research process. In this way, I have learned that research designing and the techniques are associated with handling different arguments. I have also observed that this research design relies on the practice of qualitative and quantitative technique in which the study is related to adopting the mixed technique. This business research is useful for me in terms of collecting the data and analyze it in a significant way. Moreover, I have learned that this business research program focuses on the collection of individual behavior with the mixed investigation. Thus, I am able to use the information system (Gunasekaran, et. al., 2015). It would make sure the practices of the detailed questionnaire with the open and close-ended questions. This business research supports me for completing each activity in the required time. This business research also helps me for comprehending the condition of the business.

I have also developed my knowledge about the sampling. In this way, I have learned that the identification of the population is set to emphasize on drawing a sample from the population. I have noticed that are different perspectives in which the population is being investigated and the findings are associated with the sample population and interpretation according to the study population (Gurung and Prater, 2017). This learning is beneficial for me to improve my skills and competencies to make further research.

I did different activities in assignment 1 and 2. In assignment 1, I have gathered the secondary information for conducting the literature review. I have observed that secondary information is gathered from the textbooks, journal articles, and online websites. This literature review is involved by me in assignment 1 for obtaining the depth information regarding the role of outsourcing business in the maintenance of competitive advantage: a case study of Optus Australia. In assignment 2, I did different activities such as identify feasible research design and methods, sampling, variables, data collection, and data analysis (Kranzbühler, et. al., 2018). The main reason for conducting these activities is to conduct business research in a systematic manner. I have improved my learning about the pilot study. In such a case, I have learned that the pilot study is related to performing the investigation and evaluating the data effectiveness before conducting the main survey. This business research was also beneficial for me as it aids me to comprehend the variables of research. In this way, I have created my knowledge that the variable is used in the research along with; it relies on the classification of the independent and dependent variable. The main reason for involving the variables in the research is to assess the relationship between outsourcing Business and competitive benefits (Oshri, Kotlarsky, and Willcocks, 2015). 

This business research program facilitates me to manage my career in the future. I have increased my understanding of reliability and validity. This learning experience helps me to improve the reliability and validity of the research. I have also developed my knowledge about the research limitation and time plan (Schöner, et. al., 2017). This learning experience would be applied by me to complete each task on time with avoiding the constraints of research.

Conclusion

As per the above interpretation, it can be concluded that this business research course was beneficial for me to understand the role of outsourcing business in the maintenance of competitive advantage: a case study of Optus Australia. It has also developed the research skills that would apply by me in future to make further research.
