Subject: Favorite advertisement
Among the advertisements, I see on a daily basis, the ad that pleases me and touches me is the one talks about the importance of knowing your HIV status as a man and the head of the family. The reason why this advertisement is my favorite is the way the cartoons bring out the message of knowing your status. The man who does not know his status is an irresponsible man. He does not care about his children either his wife. On the other side, the man who continuously visits health center to inquire about his status has taken care of his family. He values the health and the future of the family members.
The above advertisement affects my life in various ways. The first way is that it gives me the real picture of the society that we live in today. Many people ignore the issue of HIV status; they assume that their health is in excellent condition which sometimes may not accurate. The advertisement elaborates on the advantages that follow when the man has gone for HIV testing. He will know how to tackle the situation positively whether the result is positive or negative.
Besides that, the advertisement effects in a way that it shows, it is the responsibility of every individual to tell other to go and know their HIV status. People should not be ignoring the matter the way it has been in the society today. Lastly, the advertisement challenges me as a young man to always visit a testing center after three months to be a responsible man.
