Dsicuss about the Causes Of Death Cross Classified By Risk Condition.
According to the New Zealand public health association position statement (2004), there are a set of recommendations published so that health becomes affordable to each individual in the country. Further, report determined that the government should grow integrated agriculture, food, marketing and transport policies; a treaty based food and nutrition policy with Maori representation as well as links the breast-feeding to the policy (Ministry of Health Looking Upstream, 2018). In this section, the assignment will determine any of this policies successful implementation in New Zealand and further suggestion will be provided for this section.
As per the governmental data of the New Zealand, there are maximum deaths among the newborn have been noticed and maximum casualties have been noticed in Maori, Pacific people and those on several less income communities. Therefore to determine healthy food habit young people were targeted as through them the companies were able to sell their unhealthy and disease causing food to a major section of the society. Similarly, breastfeeding rates were low and hence this policy determined healthy food, breast-feeding as the primary source of nutritional issue (NZ Food: NZ People: Key results of the National Nutrition Survey Ministry of Health, 2018). Hence, the government implemented agricultural, economic, food production in an integrated policy so that healthy food can be made affordable to a major section of the society instantly. However, there are several recommendation such as taxing food products so that unhealthy food advertisements can be limited, that occurred in United Kingdom as well (Capacci et al., 2012). Further, in maternal wards, health education related to breastfeeding should be provided so that immunity of each newborn can be assured.
