Learning is a continuous process where individual gain knowledge at every step they take. Learning can never be good or bad; that means with learning we get access to experience or understanding any fact that was not known before. My reason for conducting a research proposal all alone was getting to understand how much capable I am to handle any individual task all by myself. For me, getting access to data, collecting and then analyzing the data was a difficult task. I felt anyhow initially that I was not capable to do such an individual task all by myself. In order to gain that confidence, I started collecting information on the topic and selected the most interesting where I have some knowledge in the initial phase only. Social media or networking sites has been a common buzz among the teenagers where they are spending several numbers of hours to interact virtually with their friends over phone, desktop or laptop. These social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram came into existence just for communication purpose among people who desire to do so. These social networking sites are used for sharing of information, data and building true relationship among the individuals who are connected virtually.
Usefulness of learning process
Process of learning is always useful according to me and has no definition as such. It is because learning is a keen of interest that is developed in the minds of people who has the inclination to know regarding any topic that interests them for obvious reasons. No one can say learning to be a bad way or any other negative comments as learning is always treated as a positive way to grasp any new ideas, innovative thoughts and many more. I am a student and very much connected to social networking sites, as I believe it develops or improves trust among various individuals through Ecommerce platform for performing any of the online transactions. Nowadays, it is clearly visible that social media had been categorized as an implementation process that gets associated with the individuals. I would also like to say media as a device that can be used in correspondence to that of daily newspaper, television as well as radio. I wanted to conduct the research on social media to find out how organizations are making use of social media platform that had changed the association with their potential clients. I wanted to find out how business organization is actually outfitting the social media energy after properly being aware of the dangers.
Learning process details and objectives
In each process of learning, the individuals can know some or other facts or lessons. Firstly, I believe that individuals should set up a goal where they need to reach or achieve within a particular time span. This will help the individuals to get proper insights of information that connects with the predetermined goals and objectives that were all set beforehand only. In this case, I wanted to conduct a research proposal on social media as I found this topic to be interesting and known to me previously. I started collecting all the information that directly or indirectly connects with my research topic. To that, I was able to gain depth understanding of social media and its related facts. For that, I have conducted quantitative data analysis by distributing the questionnaire to individuals to get proper information on my research topic. My main objective was to find out what are the ways organization are using for connecting with their clients or clients. To this, the answer was social media as it had assisted business enterprise to connect more with the consumers easily and to gain or achieve the results in a better way.
Evaluation of learning
Learning need to be properly evaluated and executed in proper way. In this case, I learnt about social networking sites and media that are revolving in recent times People are using it frequently for interacting with other individuals for building trust level. Organization is even making use of these networking sites for interacting with their potential clients and customers at the same time. It is because business organization had even understood that improvement is essential in their appearance mindfulness as well as brand image by use of social media utilization in the most appropriate way. I would suggest organization to use social media for bringing improvement as it is one of the easy way or process to communicate the message that are strong and maintains tactical distance. The pictures that are posted by the organization in the social media sites should compulsorily match with the brand image otherwise, it will hamper the reputation of that particular business organization. I found after analyzing that social media help in capturing a wide range of customers that was otherwise not possible if the business uses some other means of communication.
Explain learning process
According to me, process of learning starts from the initial stage when an individual develop an idea to get information and start up doing any particular work by their own. To explain this, the perfect example that I would like to take is the current research proposal on social media sites and how important is it for the organization in recent times. I was interested to conduct any research that will help in understanding whether I am capable to carry out the research effectively or not. To that, I selected one of the favorite topic as a teenager that of social media sites or networking. This topic was interesting for me and I was excited to find out more about social media. This was only possible if I conduct a research and gain in-depth knowledge on that given topic. It took me several days to settle with the data and information that I could collect from potential secondary sources such as journal articles, latest news, books and websites that are authentic and provides much of information on social media networking sites. With each day, some improvement in my research and learning went hand by hand. There was mixed feelings or emotions that were present with me at each step of learning process because I was nervous many a time.
Plan for applying learning
My definition of learning is gaining proper knowledge at each given step of research proposal. This was actually possible as I received constant guidance from my professor who was always ready to guide me with any queries. My selected research topic was very much liked by my professor as it is recent one and people are interested to know each aspect of this viral topic. It happen many a time that people cannot express their feelings or emotions and that when there is a need for performing something on own as it will help in gaining confidence. I was a shy person and feared at any type of situation. Now, I can tackle the situation bravely as I went around distributing the questionnaire and getting responses so that I can interpret the data for getting results. This research proposal had taught me how to be brave and confident in any difficult situations. My future plan now is clear and would like to research on more topic that I find interesting and start searching for data so that current mistakes are not committed in the future assignments. I felt there was lack of time and financial resources that limited the present research study but surely it will mitigated in the next proposal for sure.
