Learning organization ensure the growth of the organization (Daft 2015).
There are five key components of learning organization, such as- system thinking, team learning, shared vision, personal mastery, mental models (Dinh et al. 2014).
System thinking signifies a process of thinking about the language in which the leaders may describe their views and provide training to other team members. Relationship between team members shapes the structure of the system. It encourages people to study business. According to many theorists all the members of a business organization must participate in the learning process. Otherwise, the organization will fail to achieve the desired position (Pitta and Franzak 2013).
Personal mastery determines to develop personal skill and increase the concentration level towards the goal. It influences the creativity of the individual team member to resolve any common issue. It signifies the dedication of the employees towards the learning process. In an organization where employees learn any process quickly possess competitive advantage. Commitment is the key word in this process as learning cannot be forced on any one (Hogan and Coote 2014).
Mental model influences individual’s action and performance. It plays a crucial role in everyone’s performance. It puts a significant impact on individual’s vision. It indicates what people need to follow. According to this stage, it is important for every organization to remove confrontational attitudes to establish a learning organization. It will promote trust and efficiency among the team members (Siemens 2014).
Shared vision signifies a process in which team members share their views with each other. Shared vision reflects everyone’s personal vision. It motivates the team member to give their best performance to achieve the common goal. It is often evident, organizational leaders share their vision with their subordinates to influence them to contribute to defeat the competitors to achieve long-term organizational goal.
In team learning people are taught how to work together as a team. People realizes the importance of team work and group discussion. In order to work as a team, every team member must maintain discipline and trust with team members. This will help the team members to resolve any problem easily (O’Reilly III et al. 2014). Team learning requires the engagement of very individual member. Team members must communicate with each other about their experiences and knowledge. It will be beneficial for the growth of the organization.
Organizational culture plays crucial role in the learning process of an organization. It shapes the behavior of the employees. Storytelling is an integral part of organizational culture. It helps the leaders to share their own views to its subordinates which will be beneficial for improving the performance of the team members. There are three major components that help to use learning organization theories in an organization, such as- knowing, going and showing. By using this method an organization can improve their performance quality. These three ways play crucial role in the providing learning atmosphere within the organization (Gagnon et al. 2015).
Leaders play crucial role in the developing the skills of every individual employee. Good leaders always encourage their employees to learn. They know the value of learning. Great leaders are god learners as well. They concentrate on the problems and issues of their subordinates (Marquardt 2014). They listen to the issues of their subordinates and create some efficient strategies to resolve the issues of their team members. There are various types leadership styles that defines the different features of leadership, such as- laissez faire, autocratic, behavioral, democratic, transactional, transformational, situational. Transformational leadership style is considered as the most effective leadership style. In this type of leadership, leaders encourage their team members to participate in the decision making procedure of the organization. In order to achieve success, transformational leaders focus on the strengths of the team members and nurture their skills to improve the quality of their performance. It does not mean they do not focus on the weak point of the employees, but they use the strengths of their employees as the weapon to achieve desired position in the market. To create a learning organization, leaders must follow transformational leadership style. It will provide a learning environment to the employees to improve their skills. Leaders share their vision with the employees to motivate them to participate in the development of the organization (Jalal 2017).
There are various examples of transformational leadership that have brought revolutionary changes by their effective leadership quality. One exemplary example of effective leader is Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs has put a significant impact on the history of leadership by his exceptional style of leadership. Steve Jobs used to believe that organization must promote creativity. He used to motivate his employees to provide their creative ideas for the betterment of the organization. According to the organizational management of Apple, employees are the key element of the organization that helps the organization to meet the target. Thus, they must participate in the decision making process of the organization. The organizational management of Apple often meets with their team members and maintains a healthy communication with them. Apple has become world’s most preferred brand for electronic gadget under Steve Job’s vision and leadership (Apple, 2017).

According to me, it will be beneficial for the growth of the organization. The organizational management must encourage its employees to learn new and innovative techniques so they can contribute to establish a better future for the organization. I believe leaders must share their vision with their team members to motivate them. Team members will be able to identify the objective of the organization. It will increase the commitment of the employees towards the organization. They feel as an important part of the organization which will help them to give their best performance for the improvement of the organizational structure.
