Background:

You have been working as a Security Engineer at a mid-size regional special metals company.They have developed an innovative method of producing seamless, stainless steel tubing for the natural gas industry. Despite your excellent cyber related work efforts, your recent request for a raise was rejected. This left you feeling a bit unhappy, given that your deliverables have exceeded your co-workers, even some of the more senior security engineers. After reading through multiple vendor product sites, threat reports, and technical blogs, you are becoming increasingly confident in your cyber security skill sets, and are looking to expand your hands-on skills.

You also know that you are underpaid, and could likely find a new job with a much higher salary. You are still hoping that the CSO will recognize what a good employee you are, and reward you with a pay raise or maybe a bonus.
