Discussion
Before commencing my doctoral study development process I was in tenterhooks but after seeking for some assistance from my supervisor I felt eased. As normal amongst the majority of scholars and researchers, I scratched my head trying to develop my thesis and taking details. I came to realize that adequate preparation is the key phase that enables the feasibility of the process (Agee, 2009). This is what I did in my own thesis where I explored on improving patient care through electronic medical record system (EMR). I argued for how this system has metamorphosed the entire patient experience and treatment outcome. I arrived to this particular analysis by simply writing the thesis.
In the course of the entire study development process I can assert that I have new knowledge which is not only beneficial in my career path but also in my yearning to emerge a successful researcher. This process has provided me with an opportunity to enhance my intellectual capacity in various dimensions (Hsiao et al., 2010). Although I faced a few challenges here and there, I managed to cope and gained a lot in this week’s program. However, I would like to get some clarifications on various questions lingering in my mind after this week’s doctoral study development process. How can one adequately muddle through the common temporal issues such as pressure involved while working as a researcher? I also took too long to find articles discussing the issue of EMR. Kindly suggest to me how I can speed up this process in my future academic endeavors.
