The initial market value of Cadbury India was Rs. 1743 per equity share and later it was revised upwards to Rs. 2014.50 per equity share.

Nowadays, the Indian chocolate market is getting larger and better. Though there are imported varieties on one hand, companies like Cadbury establish their own products in the Indian market with international standards. In the early 90’s the market share of Cadbury was 80% but after the entry of Nestle into Indian chocolate market the market share of Cadbury has been reduced to 70%. Nestle holds 15% of market share and the other 15% by Amul and other companies.
