The context of the study was initially, a list of articles was selected and then the key elements of both management and leadership were outlined. After that the skills those are necessary for both the manager and the leader has been identified and finally, the actual differences between management and leadership have been outlined.
The study aimed at finding out the difference between leadership and management. The author in this research article has only relied on previous articles that have been conducted by researchers. These two concepts have a wide range of application in the practical world. In spite of this, no field work or practical experiments have been conducted by the author in the course of this research. This could have been done in a much developed and improvised way if rather than relying only on empirical research, certain amount of non-doctrinal research was also conducted.
I would have tried to extend the scope of the research to some extent towards non-doctrinal research as well.
The author has finally commented that managers and leaders play a complementary role in the administration of a company.
The paper has lucidly explained the ingredients of management and leadership. Also, the key elements and traits of both the qualities have been identified. The differences have also been explained to certain extent. But it would have been better if certain amount of practical scenarios were added to the situation to make it more lucid.
