1.I am the elder sibling among the four in our family, which has promoted me to take responsibility since childhood. However, the situation became challenging once my father undergone a critical heart failure, though he survived, but became unable to support our family financially as well as physically. I had to take the responsibility of my entire family. This challenging situation helped me to understand the term multitasking. Instead of the fact that many times the journey seemed to be difficult, but I have learned several aspects of life from those difficulties. I have completed my studies, while managing all the home-based works, supported my younger siblings study by doing part time jobs and tuitions. Thus, from this convoluted pathway that I can enthusiastically state my goals for a career that I hope will be long and passionate. I have accomplished my career goals with focus, discipline and determination. I have always tried to keep calm and be focused, while handling difficulties and multiple tasks at a time. I will attempt to work for long hours, show empathy and work enthusiastically for other with the students. Like my previous goals, I will utilize my past hardship being compassionate to my work. I feel the greatest of my cumulative experiences that will benefit my students' success is that I am willing to be inconvenienced for their sake.
2.Joining the summer school helped me to change my perspective of formal learning to informal and play-based learning, which may be more efficient in promoting real life lessons among students. I have learned about the importance of continuous assessment and engaging students in the development of curriculum planning. Play-based continuous assessment of development gave me the opportunity to include in the classroom for promoting student’s continuous interest development towards school curriculum.
3.During the summer school days, I have learned the play-based learning in the curriculum, which I had implemented in the classroom. It helped me to identify individual student’s needs through my creativity. I promoted creative team play, where teams were created with 5 diverse cultural students, I provided some cultural tools, i.e. picture and videos to each group, which include tools from different culture, team members help one another to inform about their familiar cultural tools, which promoted a positive interaction and improved their cultural knowledge, while promoting diversity in learning. In this play based learning, I also promoted their knowledge regarding diversity in real life.
