Introduction
Aesthetic model of learning is the branch of philosophy that deals with the certain process of influencing people with the help of visual aesthetics or to appreciate a design that is considered appealing. Therefore, the significance of visual design in respect of learning is to gain stature and becoming growingly significant in the coming years. A special important trait regarding aesthetic activity is that it can be used for expressing the unspeakable. The unspeakable can be thoughts as well as knowledge that cannot be put into words and therefore gets captured in discursive language. The aesthetic learning process occurs within a span between basic empirical learning as well as aesthetic style.
Model of aesthetic learning to be used with the student in classroom
The aesthetic learning model is considered being a method of learning that is following all through our lives. It is getting built on the basic, empirical experiences that it is not replacing. The main aspect of this learning model is that the pre-symbolic experiences of the child is linked with the aesthetic structure, which is associated with the offers related to the surrounding world relating to dialectic interaction. Therefore, in relation to the method of learning, the focus is transforming impressions into expressions with the help of an aesthetic medium and in this manner, getting the scope for processing experiences as well as interact regarding the student and his surrounding environment at the same period of time (Altmeyer, 2015).
A special important trait regarding aesthetic activity is that it can be used for expressing the unspeakable. The unspeakable can be thoughts as well as knowledge that cannot be put into words and therefore gets captured in discursive language. The aesthetic learning model takes into consideration a number of special recognition based potentials.
Aesthetic learning model is the method to regain connection with the aspect of learning something new and it assists in opening up learning areas that is associated with the power of a work of art for transforming children as well as teachers, the partnership between student as well as teacher who are sharing insights. Moreover, the challenge to partake risks for asking open-ended questions, the aspect of exploring a wide range of human association as well as the scope for combining mind as well as emotion, evaluation as well as intuition to understand something as a whole (Gilbert, 2016).
To promote student specific as well as activity based learning through the incorporation of learning with the help of visual, auditory, kinaesthetic as well as tactile ways resulting in activities that will be becoming increasingly focused on issues. It will be having relevance, being practical as well as based on skills, offering scopes in respect of the investigation as well as communication of learners (Altmeyer, 2015).
In response to one of my colleagues, I want to state that there is the requirement for using an instructional orientation considered as transmission. The impact that a classroom teacher is having on transforming education is associated with the aspect of transmission. It is one of the instructional orientations in which the role of the teacher is preparing as well as transmitting information to learners and the role of the learner is associated with receiving, storing as well as acting upon this information. Another instructional orientation that can be used in this regard is considered being transformational. It is where there is active engagement of the students to develop knowledge as well as abilities, critical thinking, higher-order abilities as well as facilitation of communication by the instructor.
In response to another colleague of mine, I want to state that the impact that a classroom teacher is having on transforming education is associated with being effective towards the advancement of the potentiality of humans. In this regard, teachers require manifesting the aspect of “symphonic thinking” that is appraising as well as synthesizing new ideas in a critical manner. A person with symphony thinking abilities is having the ability for understanding the rational connections amongst ideas; identifying, constructing as well as evaluating arguments; combining various ideas towards forming a new concept; identifying the relevance as well as significance of ideas and reflecting on the aspect of justifying an individual’s personal beliefs as well as values (Altmeyer, 2015).
For providing a response to another colleague, it needs to be stated that the influence of a teacher within the classroom is to make a transformation concerning education that is related with having the effectiveness for advancing the human potentiality. Teachers are needed to do the manifestation of the aspect of symphonic thought process that appraises as well as synthesizes innovative ideas critically. In this context, it can be stated that an individual having the capabilities of having symphonic thinking that will be acknowledging the practical relation within ideas. It does the identification, construction as well as evaluation of arguments, and does the combination of different ideas concerning the formation of a new notion, which does the identification of the ideas that are considered relevant as well as significant.
Conclusion
Aesthetics learning model assists in enhancing the value, increasing motivation, avoiding negative emotions. Therefore, it could be stated that the model of aesthetic learning is the method to regain touch with the learning process relating to something new as well as having introduction towards a medium that was unknown in a specific manner earlier.
