Answer:
According to me, this tutorial activity is far better and different than any other tutorials. This activity was so much creative that it led to my engagement with my fellow classmates. I even started learning about the accounting activities and other such relevant topics. As a result of such activities the classroom environment has become freer and the students can involve themselves in fun activities. I have been able to develop my skills and could think of accounting from a different perspective.
Yes, I can find two useful aspects of this tutorial activity related to accounting. One, it helped me to build up my thinking skills in a different way. Whatever I saw enabled me to get connected with accounting. Two, this tutorial activity helped the class to involve with each other, pay attention in the class thus making the classroom environment better. Thus, the teaching method helped in an overall development of the students.
The images that I saw helped me to visualize accounting from various aspects. First and foremost, I looked into the primary skills of accounting which includes paying detailed attention. When making any transaction or writing a report, or managing and organizing time, minute details should be noted. Then I have paid attention to the ethical part which forms a strong base for the business. If these necessary actions are not taken care of then it can lead to drastic consequences. With ethics, comes transparency and accuracy of information. This tutorial has taught us that accounting consists of exploitation, domination and ideology.
If I compare with the collage images, I can say that my perspective has changed a lot in terms of accounting and accountability. I have started thinking about accounting and accountant with a clear and broad mind which prevented me thinking too much about the theoretical concepts and numerical of the textbook.
This activity was about creating a bond between accountant, accounting and accountability. The discussion that took place in the class made me innovative and I became aware about accounting. It was an advantage as I understood to broaden my perspective of accounting from narrow accounting of numerical. It let me do the accounting work in an innovative way and I tried thinking away from just calculation, theories and concepts.
As I have mentioned above, this tutorial activity helped me to upgrade my thinking and ideas, I learnt to connect things with accounting in a different perspective. Through this tutorial activity, my notions of accounting have changed. Before being a part of this activity I used to have a generalized idea about accounting just like any other individual. But this method of teaching was totally creative which enriched us with the knowledge of accountability, accounting and accountant. I modified my capability of thinking and started to visualize things from the perspective of an accountant. The things which I normally saw made me to think about accountability.
