Do you think it is possible to remove all research bias from a study?

Yes, I think it is possible to remove all bias from the study. It is considered that the main aim of removing bias isn’t to standardize all people to be equal or have the same perception but to allow the respective researchers to divulge their true emotions without falsification (Schmidt & Hunter, 2014). Through this, despite bias being characterized as intentional or unintentional, it can be removed or minimized in research and study. Generally, it’s is considered unethical and immoral to improvise any biased research (Cook, 2014).

What steps can researchers realistically be expected to take to minimize or eliminate bias from the study?

To avoid bias from studies, researchers should always ensure that their prejudice thoughts do not interfere with how they conduct their studies or decide conclusions of the studies. During studies, researchers should always consider every important data with the same significant effect on the data analysis and findings. Another important part of a study that researchers should critically implement, it is the process of sorting and the recording data findings. After data recording, researchers should always review their entire work study and at least always have an outsider opinion or clarification (Cook, 2014). Example, after the studies, researcher should always account the accuracy of every stage of study i.e. maybe chemistry analysis and opt for professional opinion for any required corrections.

What are the implications of bias in your field?

One of the main effect that bias has imposed in my line of career has been a hindrance to both individual personal and professional development. This can be characterized by the increase of sloppy work reports and the continuous increase in outright fraud and misrepresentation of concepts. Example, most scientists today are more driven by the pursuit of financial gain than their scientific accuracy and reproducibility (Schmidt & Hunter, 2014). This is also a direct case related to my entire field performance and transparency.
