Introduction:
The aim of the report is to evaluate the responsibility of a leader in an organization. The report provides a brief plan on hiring the right people, motivating and empowering the employees of Godiva cafe (Sg.asia-city.com 2017). The leader of an organization is responsible to undertake the responsibility of the employees working in the organization. Right from the hiring process, the leader is responsible to enable and motivate people. A detailed analysis of the major responsibility of a leader can be stated below:

1. People:
People are important for a restaurant or cafe industry because it is a ready to serve and ready to assist industry. It also requires engaging consumers in the process and solving their issue at any time.
1.1 Hiring the right people:
The right people for the Cafe should have the potentiality to deal with the consumers and make them feel valued. Thus, people who already have experience in this field are the right people. In order to identify the right person, audition of the candidates has to be taken and their ability to deal with different circumstances should be checked (L?z?roiu 2015). In addition to this, a personality test can also be taken. The final selection can be made by conducting personal interview. Asking situational questions can show their ability to handle different situations.
1.2 Empowering and motivating employees:
To enhance the skills of the employees, they should be trained to have cashiering skills for making transaction as well as good speaking and listening skills. Godiva Cafe offers customization on product and thus, the employees should have the skills of 3D printing. Motivating employees by the means of giving them incentives on extra work or giving them benefits like extra leave can motivate them to work on the days they remain present at the cafe. The employees can be provided with an iPad for taking orders of the visitors (Lau and Roopnarain 2014). This way, they can feel empowered.
1.3 Enabling employees:
Apart from motivating and empowering the employees, it is also important to train the employees’ right. The leader is responsible for building high performance service delivery teams. The employees should be trained and taught the right way to deal with customers and serve them right (Graves et al. 2013). The leader is also responsible for building up an organizational culture that shall create a better place for the employees to work.
